Since lockdown began, the Tranmere Rovers Trust and Tranmere Rovers in the Community have packed and delivered over 1000 emergency food parcels for residents in the local area.
Incredibly, we have received more than £12,000 through generous donations and fundraising efforts, as well as food donations from local businesses and individuals.
Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, the need for food parcels is sadly growing. We understand that some fans and local residents may be going through a difficult time; some may have been made redundant or be unable to leave their houses. Others may have been furloughed or forced to take time off work. Regardless of the situation, Tranmere Rovers Football Club is here to support those in our local community who may be struggling right now.
If you would like to refer yourself or somebody that you know to receive an emergency food parcel, please send an email with the subject ‘Food Parcel Request’ to harrisonbentrfc@me.com providing the name, address and number of residents where the food parcel will be delivered.
We would like to assure fans that referrals are sent directly to the Tranmere Trust and are packed and delivered by our volunteers. Alternatively, collections from the River Hill can be arranged, if this is more convenient.
