Birkenhead Beer and Cider Festival 2016
We are pleased to announce that in partnership with Tranmere Rovers FC and Wirral CAMRA, the Birkenhead Beer and Cider Festival, that was last held at Pacific Road a few years ago, will this year be held at the Tranmere Rovers Recreation Centre, from 2nd - 4th June. There will be four sessions spread over Thursday to Saturday evenings with an afternoon session on the Saturday. Johnny King - Book of Condolence
One of the clubs book's of Condolence will be in the Fan Park tomorrow. The book will be available from 12.30pm for supporters to write messages and sign. We have also commissioned a 14' x 12' banner (below) which will be on display in the Fan Park and will become a permanent tribute to the great man.

On Wednesday evening, we heard the sad news that Johnny King had passed away. Johnny was a true legend of the club. A superb manager, player and gentleman to the end. Every fan of this club through Johnny's time here will have fond memories of the quality of football, the ascent of the football league, or simply the way that he spoke.
