On behalf of the Tranmere Rovers Trust and Tranmere Rovers Official Supporters Club, we would like to thank you for your fantastic support this season.
This season has been an extremely unusual and difficult one for all fans of this great football club. We have swapped our pre-match traditions with iFollow passes and season ticket seats for couches. The backing of our fans throughout this season has been magnificent; from merchandise sales and virtual Wembley tickets, to season ticket sales and volunteer efforts.
After the recent European Super League proposal and display of solidarity shown by football fans across the world, sticking together is such an important issue for fans of any club. We feel proud that our fans have displayed this quality in abundance since our relegation out of the Football League six years ago and after our demotion from League 1 last year. Despite not knowing when fans could return to Prenton Park, more than 3000 fans signed up for a season ticket and thousands continue to purchase iFollow passes each weekend.
We appreciate that due to the Coronavirus pandemic, some of our fans have been hit hard financially and that paying for a season ticket in the next three months is going to be a struggle. We have seen first-hand a demand for food parcels and an increase in people needing support over the past year. We have also witnessed such generosity, with many fans donating their season ticket balance to the Club and continuing to support our community efforts. The continued support and loyalty from our fans is hugely appreciated by everyone at Tranmere Rovers.
As we look forward to an exciting end to the season and the prospect of filling Prenton Park again, we hope that many of our fans will sign up for a season ticket once more. Our match-day traditions will soon return, the Fan Park and lounges will soon re-open and we will be able to take our seats at Prenton Park with our family and friends. As this season comes to an end and players come and go, the SWA is always there at the heart of Tranmere Rovers Football Club and will continue to be, season after season.
